The following is a list of classes being held at the range in May.
Basic Instruction Class -
Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 11am to 2pm.
Basic Pistol Instruction Class is a lecture class in the use and safe handling of semi-automatic pistols and revolvers as well as nomenclature of firearms. It is recommended for individuals who have little or no experience with firearms. Especially those who are interested in applying for a pistol license. This class is free of charge to members.
8 Hour Annual Firearms Training Course for Armed Security Guards - Saturday, May 18, 2013 from 9:30am to 6pm.
This course is a review of the 47 Hour Firearms Training Course which includes complete familiarization with and discussion of, Article 35 of the New York State Penal Law, the nomenclature for all service weapons which the security guard is authorized to carry in the performance of his/her duties.
Hunter Safety Class -
Saturday, May 25, & June 1, 2013 from 11am to 4pm.
This 10 hour class is held on two Saturdays. Registration for this class is in person at the range and begins Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 10am.
