Dear Member:
                    Our range hours have changed.  As of October 1, 2013 our new range hours are:

Monday and Friday - 12pm to 6pm

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 12pm to 8pm

Saturday 10am to 5pm.

The following is a list of classes being held at the range.

 HR218 Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) Training Class   will be held at the range on Saturday, October 26, 2013 from 10am to 5pm.  This class allows the qualified law enforcement and qualified retired law enforcement officer to carry a concealed firearm in any jurisdiction in the United States, regardless of any state or local law to the contrary, with certain exceptions. Fee for this class is $50.00. There will be a $40.00 fee for each additional firearm you choose to qualify with.

Hunter Safety Class  will be held at the range on  two consecutive Saturdays, November 2 and 9, 2013 from 11am to 4pm.   This class is  for anyone 12 years of age or older wishing to obtain a license to hunt with a firearm in the State of New York. This class is free of charge charge and  held on (2) Saturdays and you must attend both class dates.                                                                                                                                          **Hunting Class Registration will be held at the range beginning October 26, 2013 at 10am.

 Basic Pistol Instruction Class will be held at the range on Saturday, November 16, 2013 from 11am to 2pm. This is a lecture class in the use and safe handling of semi-automatic pistols and revolvers as well as nomenclature of firearms. It is recommended for individuals who have little or no experience with firearms. Especially those who are interested in applying for a pistol license. This class is free of charge to members.

 8 Hour Annual Firearms Training Course for Armed Security Guards   will be held at the range on Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 9:30am to 6pm.  This  course is a review of the 47 Hour Firearms Training Course which includes complete familiarization on with and discussion of, Article 35 of the New York State Penal Law, the nomenclature for all service weapons which the security guard is authorized to carry in the performance of his/her duties. Use of firearms and standard safety precautions will be emphasized. Loading and Unloading, sighting, proper grip, trigger control and effective range of the respective weapons will be covered. All authorized weapons will be fired for familiarization. All service handguns which the security guard is authorized to carry in the performance of his/her duties will be fired for qualification. The course includes ammunition and targets. Fee for this class is $125.00.
